Dear Johannes,

I think associating the termination workshop and/or competition
too closely to rewriting is not a good idea. I think we value that
there are many different communities participating in the workshop.
Besides, rewriting.org/termination/workshop (or similar) is not
very catchy.

I agree, though, that there should be a permanent place to keep
information about the workshops and the competition (and in fact
the termination portal I proposed in my previous mail).

I think it would be easy and cheap to register a .org domain.
The web site could then be hosted at the current maintainer's
university, but if this was switched, the address would still
be valid.

A .org domain costs about 1 euro per month (EUR 12 per year when,
e.g., using United Domains). Unfortunately, termination.org is
already taken such that we would have to use a different name.
Currently available ones are for example:

* termination-portal.org (or terminationportal.org)
* terminating.org
* termination-live.org   (or terminationlive.org)
* halting-problem.org    (or haltingproblem.org)
* well-founded.org       (or wellfounded.org)

Best regards,
Peter
